Have you looked into the metalsmithing classes at Portland Community
College? Cindy Proctor at Newberg Jewelry Supply and Studio teaches
one I have taken a couple of times. She does an excellent job of
ground up teaching starting from casting ingots and rolling wire to
fabrication and casting. She also teaches an enameling class. You can
