Hi there when I did my apprenticeship we were told to always
wash or ultrasonic jewellery between tripoli and rouge. However
what I do is only apply tripoli to 3/4 of the mop after the
piece is polished I wipe it clean on the remaining portion of
the mop this stops contamination of tripoli getting on the rouge
mop and saves lots of time. Best wishes Gerald.
