I would like to know which abrasives to use to polish quartz in a
tumbler. I know that I have to start with a coarse grit until
finishing with a fine grit.
My questions: What abrasives should I use:
alumina (Al2 O3): what grits?
silicon carbide (what grits?)
cerium oxide?
Is there an internet site where to get such ? Which books
should I buy about this topic?
