Dave, I’m not good with the buffing stuff, but as far as
oxidizing silver goes, I’ve always done my polishing, then
oxidized (I use Liver of Sulfur–because it’s there!), then
thrown the piece in the tumbler with steel shot which removes the
L of S from the high spots leaving a nice burnished finish. For
more polish, I may hand buff it a bit.
