When applying cerium oxide to hand polish the enamel surface; which
hardness of dense wool felt bob (soft-medium-hard) is commonly used
or preferred by those enamelers out there? I have an old used and
abused 2 inch wide X 2 inch thick leather (elk or cowhide) buff
cylinder which I am trying to replace; and would welcome any
suggestion for source of supply for such a leather bob …preferably
unmounted or without a mandrel. Best Regards to all, Mark
