I am making some platinum Edwardian style Earrings jewellery, and
would like to gather some about the kind of findings used
for this style of jewellery in earrings and pins
Since the Platinum we use is 99.99 % pure it is very soft and the
post dont hold so well for the earrings.
Would appreciate if you all know somebody who is making specialised
platinum findings.
Also is there a way to harden Platinum to make in post,pins and
screwback etc so that it will hold the tension.
I have been suggested that Platinum with 18kt gold findings is also
the norm and accepted in some markets like Japan. But I am doubtful
