the one platinum class I’ve heard about in NYC is given at FIT (Fashion
Institute of Technology) and a couple of people I know really enjoyed it.
The main problem is that many prerequisites are needed to even take the
course and your best bet on finding out if you can is talking to Tony
Lent, chairperson of the jewelry department there. He might know of other
classes in platinum, but I’m not sure if he’s around or on vacation right
