Plated brass defuzzer

During a workshop at Metalwerx with Chris Darway, he accidentally
came upon a recipe for defuzzing plated copper on brass. In lieu of
vinegar, we used citric acid. We were stunned how well this works.

1/3 c. of water
3 Tbs citric acid
1/3 c of hydrogen peroxide

Heat the solution with good ventilation until nearly boiling. Place
your plated piece in the solution and watch it go. It took about 15
pieces of brass, bronze and tarnished copper before the solution
finally gave up.
