Placing hallmarks

Hi All

I am making earrings using 18ct and sterling. Sometimes I use 22ct as
well. These are a lot of stamps! I would like to put my personal
stamp with the 750 and the 925 together on the gold part as there is
no space on the sterling. Is thisdone? Also do people usually put
their stamps on both earrings or only on one side? I haveno idea of
the norms for this and tend to chop and change dependingon
theaesthetics and the design of the piece involved. Any info would be
most appreciated as I am urgently trying to finish these
pieces.

You must check with your country’s authorities on this as
hallmarking laws are different from country to country. Of the laws
I am familiar with what you propose is not legal (USA and UK)
