Photograpy book

Those of you looking for more on photographing your
products may want to take a look at “Photographing Minerals,
Fossils, & Lapidary Materials” by Jeffrey Scovil - ISBN
0-945005-21-0. I purchased my copy in '97, and I seem to remember
that it was around $45. Worth every penny! This is a “textbook” on
photographing all kinds of small items…

Some of the lighting techniques have never been discussed on this
forum, and work extremely well with jewelry. It came out just as
digital cameras were beginning to appear on the shelves, so it
doesn’t address them specifically - but all of the techniques are
applicable to whatever camera you use.
