At the risk of being considered a sissy I’ve got to admit that I
have failed for nearly 20 years in every aspect of photography
from macro to telephoto from slides to prints. But this year we
went digital. I bought my wife an Olympus 500 digital camera and
it takes unbelievable macro photos! Plus you can take ten or a
hundred shots of the same subject and see mistakes in composition
immediately rather than waiting for film. Since it is digital all
the mistakes are free and we just delete them, unlike regular
photos which cost no matter how terrible they are. Georgie
