Pewter how soft is it?

hi… need some advice, Please. I want to cast some items in pewter,
how soft is it? I am casting an item that goes into a wallet or can
be uses as a key chain? thanks jill

It is soft. It can be used as key chain item or wallet thing, but
it will ware much faster than silver or gold. Sort of like lead,
maybe a bit harder but not too much.

Yes, very soft. And you can almost melt it with a match. It also
turns dark very quickly. (But maybe you want it to??)
