Hi Everyone,
Paul Mergen is going to be in Philadelphia for another PSG
lecture/workshop November 12-14. Both will be held at Moore College
of Art, 20th & the Parkway, in Center City Philadelphia. There is
parking in the area. He will be teaching a class that I
insensitively titled “Forging-Fibula & Flatware”. (Paul prefers to
describe his work as ‘direct metal forming’ instead of forging.)
The lecture will be on Friday night at 7PM and is free to anyone who
wishes to attend. Paul will be talking about his own work this
time. The workshop is open only to PSG members (a trifling $30 a
year!) and will be held Saturday & Sunday. E-mail me if you want to
join & I will give you the otherwise, members know how
to sign up.
Had a FABULOUS workshop with Arline Fisch last month. She is a
skillful, clear, and dedicated teacher. I even got to turn one of
my sample pieces into jewelry!
