Pen Electroplating

Hi All,

A quick question is the solution for Pen Electroplating the same as
the full immersion’s one?

Thanks for your Help

No. It is not the same one. We need to ask for a solution for Pen
plating.

Thanks and Regards,
K. Karthikeyan

Hello,

The answer is NO, for Pen plating the concentration of RH in the
solution needs to be higher then the bath plating or immersion
wherein the RH concentration has to be between 2 to 3 grams per liter
compared to the 5 grams Rh in 100 ML of H2SO4 (sulfuric acid).

Also both the solutions plate in different temperatures the bath
preferably heated to 40deg. C and the pen applied cold.

Also the applied volts are different the bath at a minimum of 2.4 V
whereas the pen between 6 to 8 volts.

Please refer to the Technical sheet which accompanies the solution
to get correct results.

Stay bright by following standards and instructions.
