Thank you so much for the detailed replies!
Obviously, I’ve had my nose stuck in pearl references and out of
jewelry stores and trade shows for far too long…
When I saw the first response, I realized my lapse-- I’ve thought of
them as “moonstone, orange adularescence” (not a very poetic name, is
that?) for so long that “Peach Moonstone” sounded funny to me.
Not to mention that this friend is someone who regularly comes to me
with news of strangely named "which turn out to be
something else.
Someone else in the trade mentioned that one of the cable shopping
networks has been featuring “Peach Moonstone” recently…
