I just happened upon this today, and I really haven’t explored it so
much - there’s a lot here. The man is an astronomer and mathemetician
and more, apparently. The reason I post it here is because of the
huge amount of content about 3d graphics, raytracing, rendering
engines and the like. Fascinating man…

Thanks for posting this, what a rabbit hole to wander down!! If you
like that, a very interesting book that I’m reading again right now
is “Art and Physics, parallel visions in space, time & light” by
Leonard Shlain. It’s about the parallel histories of art and science
and it shows how the artists were visually ahead of the scientists
throughout the ages up to modern day.
