Last night Valentin Yoktov graciously opened his studio in Brooklyn,
NY, to any who wanted to get together for an informal evening of
talk, drink & food. Some brought examples of their work and, of
course, many were wearing their work. It was good to meet many
jewelers, metalsmiths, etc. Most of the people were new to me as I
had not seen them at any of the Orchid dinners that we have had here
in New York. I want to thank Valentin for his hospitality, energy
and his great smile and warmth.
