Thank you! I’ll check them out
I myself and several of my students who are long time professional goldsmiths have had very similar experiences with this company, which is why I no longer recommend them.
I’ve been a lurker in this thread because it sounds like I’m in the minority. I like the original Little Torch and its tips. I’ve been using it for more years than I can count and for me it works great. I started off using the Little Torch in the 1980’s with Oxy/Acet and now use it with Oxy/Propane. Smith recommends different tip sizes for Oxy/Acet than with Oxy/Propane. Oxy/Propane uses bigger size tips. I think it’s #4-#7. The three tips that I use the most with Oxy/Propane are #6,#7 and the Little Torch rosebud tip.
Because this set up has worked so well for me for decades, I haven’t seen a need to change. But it sounds like it’s time to try something new. I’m going to check out the IMPGEN multi port tips.

Me too!
It was the Paige melting tip that melted… Huge fail, why did you change the topic of this post to be about your files ?? Should not be posted in this thread.
Stream of consciousness I suspect, these long discussions can go in different directions over time. I might also have been responding to something specific that someone said or I was referring back to something discussed under another topic. I really don’t remember and, as is pointed out in the heading to your reply, it was 2 months ago. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with Paige tips. Thanks for sharing it…Rob
