I just put up a new tutorial called, Faux Silver Bracelets, which is
part of my round braiding tutorial series. Part of what’s so
interesting about this tutorial is that I used bare aluminum wire and
tested out a relatively new product, Smart Stain by Sculpt Noveau. I
used the Smart Stain black stain instead of the usual aluminum
oxidant (which leaves the metal a bit “dusty” dark grey) and was
amazed at the real “blackness” I got with just one spray coat of the
Smart Stain. Just fyi and tutorial is
