In my recent session of teaching Diamond Setting in Ohio, I delved into the topics of the uses of Gravers.
The four-day intensive session consisted of using three simple Gravers: Onglette #1 & #2 and a Flat graver #40. I explained how to modify each and everyone of them as I went from one ring pattern to the next.
It is essential of every stone-setter to learn how these three little steel blades can turn a basic setting design into literally ‘pieces of art’!!!
I just left my student with a greater grasp of knowing & also a greater respect what these blades can do!
