The following is a shamelessly self-serving, bald-faced attempt to
save myself some money, while at the same time (hopefully) meeting
some of you great jewelers out there.
I am taking my daughter on a month-long trip to Europe to celebrate
her graduation from the University of Chicago (mom’s bragging
rights). We will be wandering from the UK (mid June) across western
Europe by whatever route strikes our fancy, toward Italy, and back.
Is there anyone on this forum who is just dying–ok, willing–to meet
us, or maybe even put us up for a night? We’re very
entertaining–very talkative, not at all shy. Really.
Any responses should probably be off-line, unless you plan to open a
Jewelers’ Hostel. Anyway, save all your best posts for after I get
back!
