Orchid Dinner in Tucson - Who's going?

Hi All,

Who’s going to the Tucson Dinner?

Hard to believe that January is clicking by quickly and soon we will
be in Tucson. I know for many of you that the Orchid Dinner is a
highlight of the week…it is for me. It’s the one time of year that
I get to see my Orchid contributors, meet new friends and smiling
faces and announce the Raffle Winners.

However, this event takes lots of planning by Ganoksin, by Rio
Grande, who is our generous sponsor and Pat Glover who takes good
care of the Silent Auction.

The deadline for registration is JANUARY 25TH!!! Please, if you know
you are going and just haven’t gotten around to registering, help
them create a special event FOR YOU. After the 25th, it just gets
harder and harder to make sure everyone has their name tag, the
correct meal count is made and enough tables are set up.

You can of course come to the dinner directly, but the price goes up
and it is just harder on all of us.

I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Karen and all…Unfortunately I will not be arriving in Tucson until
the 5th this year and so…will miss the dinner and great
opportunity to meet and visit with all my Orchid friends.
Nonetheless, I will be purchasing some chances on the great prizes
and make a contribution to Orchid.

I hope you all will have a great time at the dinner… Perhaps I can
make it next year. Meanwhile, if any of you get a chance, stop by the
TEP, I will be at the Graves Co. or at the TEP Learning Tent from 5
thru 10 Feb.

Cheers from Don at The Charles Belle
Studio in SOFL where simplel elegance IS fine jewelry!

I wish I was!! This will be the first one I miss, and miss it I
will! For those of you that have never attended and will be in Tucson
during that time, I highly recommend going. It’s such a great
opportunity to meet many of the people that post throughout the year,
and put faces to those names. I will miss my hug from Hanuman and
Ton, not to mention chatting with Pat, Sam, Karen, Charles, Alan,
etc… I’ll miss you guys and be thinking about you on the eve of the
dinner.
