hello, all i’m planning to get a gemologist certification but with
the choices out there, i have a question: in the united states if
you had to choose one, which is the better certification to have, a
gia g.g or a gem-a f.d.a.? thanx
Regretfully GIA does not offer certification, though many are very
happy with their Graduate Gemologist diploma. I guess it depends
how much hands on you want. If you take GIA in residence you will
at least grade 100 diamonds and have to identify over 1000 colored stones.
