Hi, does any one know if there is an online tutorial for crochet
weaving using the wooden form with a hole down the middle and pins
in the top.

There are many, many tutorials. Google “French knitting” and you’ll
find lots of them.

Hi all, if I remember it from my school days we used a wooden cotton
reel and with four nails in the top, just google French knitting
spools. I am sure you could make something that would work for
making silver chain.
