I've posted on this a couple of times... one last word.
As the Grateful Dead sang:
Now I don't know but I been told
it's hard to run with the weight of gold
Other hand I heard it said
it's just as hard with the weight of lead
If you work in metal; whether it be gold, silver, copper, steel,
titanium, you are in some way damaging the environment. Every
artist, or any worker who creates anything, creates waste. The only
way around this is to give up living.
Instead, go forth each day in your work, in your art, and treat each
creation you make as a sacred and important gift of your spirit, the
planet and our culture. Be decent, be fair, be generous and ignore
the perpetual complaints of the dream killers. Soar!
