I read with interest that Europe is striving to become nickel free.
The problem is what are they doing about nickel in solder? When in
Germany this spring I was amazed at the attitude that while you can’t
use nickel gold alloys, at least if it touches the skin, nickel based
solder was not banned. My searches so far has me convinced that it
is not available in anything over 14K. Anyone know of a reliable
source for 18K white gold palladium solder?
