Aloha, You can get and use a seperate thermocouple and pyrometer
or you can get parts for a “Satellite oven” for less than half
the price (including the rheostat).Unfortunately the heating
mantle, still has to be “Ney” , as they are the only ones that
make it.Ney is originally a dental and dental lab supply
company.They have price that reflect it as well, when they broke
into the jewelry market,I guess they thought we could pay like a
dentist.Nice equipment though,I have several pieces of theirs .If
you need a source let me know.
