Check out this tap and die set i found for jewelers! I have been hoping for something like this! I just ordered it, so I’ll tell you how it goes once here.

Sad to say, but this is rather pricey for an Indian-made tap & screwplate set. You’re paying a lot extra for the wooden box. Usually this set is in the $20-25 range, without the nice box.

I have several tap and die sets. I have learned how to use them, but do so rarely. My plan was to do cold connections with them, but I like rivets a lot more…Rob

I have a similar set…a word of caution, be very careful with the tiny size taps…they will snap if you look at them funny!…but! the good news is that you can order individual replacements…
