Hi Everyone,
I have recently been approached by a good friend of mine to come
work with him in his Jewelry store. He would like to hire me to deal
with all the back end things such as technology, marketing and hr, so
that he can focus more of his energy on sales.
I have a background in technology and internet marketing and I do
not know a thing about jewelry. His offer is based on the fact that I
am a quick learner, a natural at marketing, and perhaps most
importantly, someone he can trust.
If I accept the job, it will be because I believe that I can help
grow the business.
I am already combing the archives for helpful I would
appreciate hearing from people how manageable they think it is to
step into this role with no experience, how long the learning curve
might be, and what some good resources would be.
