Wendy McAllister’s large enameled brooches have been widely
exhibited nationally and internationally. Her work is included in
the permanent collection of the Mint Museum of Craft + Design,
Charlotte, N.C. and in many private collections. She has received
the highest Individual Artist Award granted by the Maryland State
Arts Council. Wendy McAllister work will be exhibited at the Sieraad
International Jewelry Show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and at the
American Craft Council Show in Baltimore, MD. “The vibrant
exuberance of clashing colors and sensuous forms in Nature excite me
even as I struggle to accept their impermanence.”
