Vladimir Levestam was born on 1 April 1954 in Yalta on the Black Sea
coast - site of the famous Churchill, Roosevelt, Stalin summit of
World War II. He became interested in art while studying theoretical
physics first in Moscow State University and then Simferopol State
University.
