Linda Kaye-Moses
Studio Jeweler Linda Kaye-Moses, an award-winning artist whose work
is shown at juried events and selected galleries, teaches at craft
schools nationally and internationally and is the author of “Pure
Silver Metal Clay Beads”. Her jewels concern themselves with
function, wearability, and also with the implicit/explicit narrative
capacity of adornment, and, often with enclosure as sculptural form.
Those individual jewels that are combined with supporting enclosures
are an extension of my intention to build fully realized objects by
constructing jewels within environments or protective dwellings,
“Nesting Cases”.
Her pieces explore the fusion of multiple elements with the stories
her objects relate; each object speaking as a sculptural
‘encyclopedia’ of connected and coherent images, symbols, and
concepts.
