today, I got what I’ve been waiting for! My new book on making
silver filigree got into my hands! It came in from the printer on
Monday and I got my first author copies today! Which means that those
of you that ordered it on Amazon should be getting your copies soon
as well!

BTW…if anyone is going to be at the Clasp Convergence in
Nasheville in September, I’ll be there, with books and will be doing
two filigree demos on Friday afternoon!
One last thing, Rio Grande will be carrying Filigree wire in about a
month. Due to a miscommunication somewhere, the wire that is in the
catalog, listed as twisted, square wire, should have been rolled
flat…the order number for filigree wire is going to be:
#100-831
I was told they’ve ordered about 100 oz to have in stock, but it
will take about a month to get it in. If you get your book and just
can’t wait, order the twisted square wire in the new catalog and
flatten it to about.5 mm thickness!
