Need engraving accessories explained

After I was cleaning up for my next project, I discovered these
accessories for my engraving ball.

I understand that the large object is used for sharpening a graver
somehow. Can anyone refer me to directions for its use?

But while I understand the basic function of the pins, I don’t know
what the other shapes are for.
