I am currently wishing to etch (?) quotes onto jewelry. Is there a way to print (laser print?) from a font and use that to mask the etching? Thank you!
You can definitely use a laser print image as an etching mask. Because there is so much to know in order to get your words etched into the metal, I would send you to a Facebook group called Electro-Etchers Anonymous. I would suggest reading their files section which has all the information to get you started with Electro Etching, my personal favorite because it doesn’t use nasty chemicals and the electricity used is at a safe low-voltage.
The other choice would be chemical etching and the FB group for that is Etchers Anonymous.

Don’t forget the possibility of reverse imaging. Nothing like having all your work backwards!
