My atomizer has started to leak

Hi, the level tube on my atomizer fitted on the outside of the
microflame h20 generator has started to leak, not much so far but the
level in the atomizer is going down much faster than it use to.

Can anyone say what material it’s made off, I did try the pipe
that’s used inside as it’s the same bore but it went all floppy.
Can’t take the MEK that’s in the atomizer.

Also source of the tubing as I’ll only need 6 inches.

Neil…

I needed to do exactly the same a couple of years ago. Eventually I
discovered Tygon tubing, which is an exact match for the original. I
found two sources:

but it was difficult to buy small quantities. Its also rather
expensive.

Dear Neil:

I “think” you are located in England? If the manufacturer no longer
has parts try Bryzel Ltd in Oxfordshire (www.bryzel.co.uk). If this
website is deleted write me off line. For a sight gauge and using
MEK, really any standard booster fluid, it best to use Teflon[tm]
tubing, properly clamped. If you need to bend it a little to put in
place, use a heat gun to soften it before trying. At room
temperature it could crack.

Best Regards,
Gary
