I am moving to Corpus Christi Texas and was wondering if there are
any Orchid members there? Is there much activity in that area for
jewelery making and metalsmithing?

Our experience with the shows in Corpus are that unless one has low
dollar items, it is difficult to make much. Of course, living there,
you would not have much expense. I don’t know about instructions
maybe a rock and mineral group would have lessons.
There is the Gulf Coast Gem and Mineral Society that meets at the
CC museum on the third Tuesday at 7:30 pm except during the summer
and December.
Not in CC but there are classes in San Antonio.
