Say, just HOW do you know your crucible should be tossed out?
I've tried boiling them as directed in Mr. Clean and water and it
makes scraping the junk off easier but doesn't exactly clean them
spic and span.
** Are you concerned with the usefulness of your crucible, or
its' aesthetic appearance???
So If I scrape all this junk of and get it down to porous clean
clay again and re-season, is it safe to use?
** I have crucibles that are over 10 years old - and they are
