I'm Monica Rotta an italian polymer clay artist. After working for years in the graphics I started 10 years ago to make jewelry and paintings with polymer clay.I take inspiration from nature (I live in the hills of northern Italy) and from artists of Art Nouveau that I love.
Materials: Polymer clay, branch of grapes, Tahitian gray pearl, acrylic paint
Dimensions: 10 x 2 cm
My concept of the work plan evolves by brashes that dance, twist, hugging each other in a movement that creates intimacy. This inspired me to create a nest, an area that encompasses something precious, now an amethyst, now a natural pearl, now the branches themselves, as well as precious is our soul that takes refuge in it. The color accompanies us on this trip, the color “powerful means to make something happen inside of us”, caresses with shades of natural wood, combined with the fullbodied burgundy , burgundy and old gold
