Moissanite tester

Has anybody got a recommendation for a good Moissanite tester?
I’ heard a lot of conflicting reports about reliability. Thanks.

Personally, I prefer the human eyeball and a loupe. These stones
are doubly refractive. By observing the apex thru the upper
bezel, crown mains or even the star facets the doubling will
become evident. Diamonds are singly refractive, so if you note
doubling, will know that it is not a diamond that you are looking
at.

You can get a moissinite tester from:

Hanneman Gemological Instruments
PO Box 942
Poulsbo, WA 98370
Tel: (360) 598 4862

I read that the International Gemmological Institute in Belgium has
developed a hardness pencil (Mohs 9.5) for moissinite.
