Do you use different types of wax for different purposes, or do you
have a favourite type of modelling wax that you feel is a goog all
round wax, and if so what is it.

I use all types of wax, but my favorite would be “Mold-a-Wax”,
because it like plasticene.

Usually I make a plasticene model, and make an RTV, then I can pour
as many waxes as I need.

I have a box of interesting wax shapes, that could be called a box
of greebles.
