I've always loved "ancient" jewelry and the idea of "treasure". I try to incorporate these loves in the design of my pieces, much of which have some etched detail in them, such as Viking runes, medieval manuscript texts, etc. My jewelry is somewhat rough around the edges, mostly because it gives the pieces an old weathered look, like it was just dug up from the ground and re-polished.
