Hi All, Next Metalsmiths Gathering in Newport, Rhode Island will
be Saturday, July 31 at 2pm. If you are in the area (Rhode Island,
Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, etc.) and want to
attend please contact me. The more the better. It is just a
party to relax and meet others.

Hi Susan, Seems like you’re partying again. Thought that after
last week you’d go into hibernation for at least a month. I’m
worn out and I did very little but try and pull the loose ends
together.

The package of shelving is still sitting on the front porch. If
it is not picked up by tomorrow I’ll surmise it is just looking
for a home. But don’t despair, I won’t take pity on it and get a
derick to bring it in. I’ll just call UPS again and plead with
them to stop by and carry it away.

SNAG was a fabulous happening. Looking forward to seeing
everyone in Boston next year. My kids live there so I don’t have
any excuse not to go. If you have any extra pins from the Pin
Swap, including Thomas Mann, would appreciate you sending them to

Ray, It is the energizer bunny syndrome I fear. Seriously though,
I am collecting a list of people to invite to the metal gathering
so if you or your friends want to attend let me know. Had 50
people show one time. Elaine is sending Orchid pins by Andy
Harney of Tri-Electronics - SPARKY. But I don’t really have to
bribe people to show up for a party now do I? Hopefully Charles
Lewton-Brain books will arrive by then so if anyone wants to buy
a copy I will have plenty around.
