1998 SFMS Workshops

WORKSHOP DATES

Thursday, April 16 - Wednesday, April 22
Monday, August 24 - Sunday, August 30
Monday, September 28 - Sunday, October 4, 1998
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

Three SFMS Wildacres Workshops are scheduled in 1998. Applicants from
SFMS clubs will be accepted first. Members of other AFMS clubs have been
invited to apply and are then welcome on a space available basis. No
applications will be accepted with a postmark prior to April 1, 1998 for
the August and September sessions. The postmark date on or after those
dates determines the order of acceptance. First-time attendees have an
extra priority.

Students under 18 years of age are welcome. They must be accompanied by a
responsible adult and be approved by the workshop director and
instructor.

Half of the $ 215 registration fee should accompany the application form,
although the full amount may be submitted if it is more convenient. The
balance is due three weeks before the workshop begins.

Full refunds will be made if a cancellation is made three weeks prior to
the start of a session. Cancellations received 8 to 20 days before
sessions will be assessed a $10 cancellation fee, and a $25 cancellation
fee will be charged if a cancellation is received during the last week
before a session. No refund will be given if cancellation is received on
or after the first day of the workshop unless a qualified substitute can
be found at the last minute.

A minimum of four students must enroll for a particular class to justify
expenses. This can result in classes being canceled for a session.

Classes with an asterisk (*) are advanced and have prerequisites. Please
see course descriptions for specific details. Contact the registrars or
