If I had a PC I would buying one of these microscopes, but alas, I
have a Mac. John McLaughlin’s post illustrates the kind of thing I
would do with it: magnify all kinds of textural things so as to get
images for etched metal. Play around with the images a little with
Photoshop to reduce them to blacks and whites, Xerox them onto PnP,
and away you go. Boy, am I jealous!
