I purchased a Matt lathe some years ago and used it for perhaps a
year. It?s quited limited. In retrospect, I bought it because I
didn?t know any better. It?s a Mickey Mouse rig, in my opinion. Throw
a couple of hundred dollars together with the cost of it and you can
get a desktop lathe. I bought an old industrial lathe ten years ago
and immediately I couldn?t live without it.
