Duties:
-produce new pieces of inventory for the studio
-assist clients with new sales
-restoration and/or repair of jewelry
-clean and maintain equipment used for production
-clean display cases and art
-repolish jewelry
-assist with opening, closing and maintaining studio
Requirements:
-general bench skills
-excellent customer service skills
-ability to follow direction and learn new techniques
Optional skills and experience (a plus, but not required):
-pave setting
-ajours
-mold making, wax and casting
-enameling
-engraving
-lapidary
-sculpting
-lathe work
-computer and website maintenance
-photography
-appraisals
-GIA certification
Compensation: Based on experience.
