The Message: Etching stainless steel
Anyone know how to etch stainless steel plates? I want to use these plates
for rolling texture into precious metal using a rolling mill. Any tips or
suggestions would be very appreciated. Can I use Nitric acid and
asphaltum? How do I sandwich the metal so that I don’t leave permanent
marks on the steel rollers?
