Marks on platinum ring

hi to donna et al, the mark on the band of your platinum ring identifies
the country of origin not the maker. it is a french hallmark that denotes
local use rather than export. this mark originated in December of 1912 and
was for .950 purity. it has been used in combination with other marks in
the years following so there may have been additional marks either in or
out of the band that would determine the actual locality. many of these
marks are lost in resizing thru the years but if you can find others, i’ll
see if i can decipher them. susan c.
