This is my retrofitted bench, it's brand new, I just finished it and cannot wait to begin try it .
I modified my regular American bench, glued and screwed a deeper beech top on the previous one; gave it a big curve as seen in European benches, then modified the drawer so I could use it for tools, added a skin for dust and metal bits, then made files and gravers racks on each side and customs made Lazy Susans for burs and polishing materials.
